Do you need to use software on a workstation but you don't have the necessary license? That's not a problem - you can buy licenses through SimpleCloud. 


  1. Log on as a studio owner or studio manager. Only these types of user have the permission to buy licenses.
  2. Select your studio and then select Manage Studio.
  3. Select Licenses.

  4. Select the Buy Licenses tab.

    Buy New Licenses tab. There is a Buy New Licenses section on the left and a Licenses to Buy section on the right. The Licenses to Buy section shows icons for the software that is installed on the workstations in this studio.
    In the Licenses to Buy section, there are icons for each software application that you have added to the workstations in your studio.

  5. Find the icon for the software that you need a license for, and then drag it into the Licenses to Buy section of the Buy New License(s) section.

  6. Enter the amount of licenses you want to buy.

    The Buy New Licenses section shows that the user is ordering 4 licenses for Autodesk Maya.
  7. Select Place Order to buy the license(s).
    The Buy Licenses tab updates to show you your order has been placed. Select the arrow icon at the end of the order row to display the order details. You can also cancel your order from here, but only when the order is in the pending state.

    The Buy New Licenses section shows the placed orders. One of the orders is expanded so that you can see the details of the order and cancel it if needed.
